I am trying to place a logo so that it is superimposed on top of the rotating banner. I want half of the logo on the black background, and half on the image. I am trying to do this by controlling the z-index.
h1#logo a{ display:block; height:198px; z-index:99; }
But I believe that the js is preventing the logo from floating on top. Do you know if there is an easy way of doing this?
I am a newbie. Sorry if the answer is obvious.

It sounded easy. But what about the CSS file? Am I supposed to do something to it? And should I remove the css class for lava for the navigational menu?
And what about the ie6 and ie7css?
I really like this template. But it’ll be such a bummer if I cannot add a dropdown menu easily without having to worry about css, ie6, and ie7 compatibility and what not.

Hi. I’ve just uploaded the site. I can’t seem to get the contact page to work. Is there more to change than what’s in your help file. I’m not an experienced web designer, and the php contact page seemed simple enough but I’m not receiving the test emails I’ve sent – although the form says “email sent successfully”
