I’m no Photoshop expert, but I’ll tell you what I would do.
If your version of Photoshop has the slice tool (I don’t think elements does), you can use that tool to select the area you want to slice, and then double click on the box you made to change the dimensions. Then go to File -> Save For Web.
If you don’t have the slice tool, you can just use the marquis tool to select the area you want. Select more than you want here to have some room to play with it. Copy it by going to Edit -> Copy Merged. Then you can open a new document, choose the dimensions that you want it to be, and paste it there. Then you can use the Arrow tool to move it arround inside that window if you need to.

I’ve just downloaded this template, I don’t think my issue was the authors fault at all and only posted it here so he could see I did in fact purchase the download.
The theme is MAGNIFICENT !
I’m having a SEVERE issue downloading this theme. I purchased it, went to download it, it cut off halfway in the download and now whenever I try and re-download it, nothing happens, I click “download” and nothing happens, the system just looks for the file requests and sits there.

I have a bit of a problem with embedded flash on the page. When I’ve changed links on the page, the flash will actually appear on top of the rest of the page obscuring the rest of the site. If there anyway of disabling the flash when it’s not currently in view?

I just downloaded the updated repository and I see there have been some changes but I’m still seeing this on a 1024×768 monitor:
when you scroll over to the right the bottom footer area is cutoff. Would you be able to fix this up as well please?
