Hello Agian,

I am noticing that sometimes my slideshow image is hiding the dropmenu choices on the homepage. Do you have a fix for this?

I’m just about done with my site and appreciate all the help. I have two new questions and one old one to resolve before I finish…

1. How do I hide the RSS link for my brochure-ware site, no blog (old question)

2. How can I make the title in the slide show smaller (ex: Excellent result…)

3. Where can I change the thank you text on the contact page? (I don’t see it in contact-form.php)

Hi i don’t know if my last posts got to you but here is my problem.

I created an alternate home page called welcome but it does not replace the default main page so have two home pages, how do i get rid of the first page?

Hello, I am having another issue. Everything is working fine but for example when it comes to social media sharing: Facebook, myspace etc when I attempt to do so from the root page ( it pulls a social media Icon (which I removed from the main page) and the text from the first featured post. I’ve scanned the code everywhere for a solution. Have searched the web and found a few but none work. Ex: of one…

Inserted into the header.php

Ideally I would love to specify a specific Image, Title & Description for the main page only. It works perfectly from all the other pages, has the artist image with the little bio just not the main page which is really messing me up. I can’t see if maybe its coded that way I just can’t find it anywhere in the code.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Looking at this theme… looks good so far, but couple things

I agree with @mrfootball

“Love the theme, however I’m receiving complaints from my client about the slow page loading times. Can you take a look at my site and let me know what can be done to increase the speed?

Looking at it with a T1 connection and it took way longer than expected. Is it the slider having issues with the size of pics?

PLUS I notice not many are using it as a blog. Can the blog posts be incorporated to show at bottom or somewhere on the front page?

The titles of the Homepage Box sections aren’t displaying any characters that have accents in them. ex: ” Гў ” doesn’t appear in any of the titles but shows up fine in the description box.

Any ideas?

Hi,

For those who may have run into the same problem that I had – here’s a short description of what went wrong and what you need to do to fix the problem.

FILE ::comments.php

“comment_form(comment_notes_after, false );” boolean value of FALSE passed as second value.

FILE ::comment-template.php

(A.) “function comment_form( $args = array(), $post_id = null )” - Called function expects ’$post_id’ value and is null if nothing is passed. But $post_id will be ‘false’ due to call in comments.php. - Because of this the if statement: if ( null === $post_id ) $post_id = $id; else $id = $post_id; is not sufficient to check for the ‘false’ value. This results in the global $id variable to be overwritten with the ‘false’ value.

(B.) Because the global $id variable has been incorectly set the function call: ”$result = “ \n”;” builds this result in the form : “ “

FILE ::wp-comments-post.php

When the comment form is submitted all the above causes the IF statement : if ( empty($post->comment_status) ) { do_action(‘comment_id_not_found’, $comment_post_ID); exit; } to execute and this then results in a White-Page-Comment-Error.

FIX :

We had to edit the original faulty IF statement to function as follows: if ( (null === $post_id) || (false == $post_id) ) $post_id = $id; else $id = $post_id;

When this is fixed, you can comment and reply on posts.

Hope this helps if you ran into the same problems of not being able to comment.
