One other issue…

I’ve created the featured category for the homepage slider, loaded up some images etc and everything works great. But because I want my homepage in blog format the featured slider posts also show up in the homepage. Yech ! Looks stupid.

I tried to exclude the category by tweaking the index.php, but that just disabled the images going to the slider.

Is there a way to stop the slider posts appearing on the homepage blog area ?

Thanks for the fast responses. I would have thought that excluding the slider posts from the homepage blog is a very basic requirement. It means that whenever you add a new image it’s also going to be the top blog post – no matter where the image URL happens to point to on the slider.

It’s a great theme, but I think this feature could do with a little more finessing.

pratically don’t work the wordpress functions “featured” for article used for mantain an article at the first place. I think don’t work because the”blog” and his child categories are Categories in blace being pages.

the questions is : Can I have a post featured in a category page? I try without succes.
