Do you think it would be relatively easy to remove the slider entirely and replace with a large box for a video to play?
I am hesitant to buy the theme and attempt this because of other people saying they were having problems with the java on this theme.

Love this theme and blueglow- bought both.
Have a question though, for some reason blog posts aren’t showing up in the category page. I’ve posted blogs and the permalink to the blog works, and they show up on the features area on the front page- but not on the blog section. Here’s the URL - any advice would be great, thanks.

We want to put into order the postCategory pages that we have just configurated, because they don’t follow the attribute page order (these do work on the menu). We have tried to change the ID’s order, but they follow the ID recent order.
How can we define a specific order of the postCategory pages?
On the other hand, we would like that Image fader settings(if fader enabled on a page) work as a slider.
We mean that some images appear like a slider with a link to a static page (not only as fader transition).
How can we change the Image fader as a slider?
Finally, how can we configure a 404 page? By default it charges a default page style

I’m having a problem with the sidebar for this theme:
- I’m trying to show a sidebar that shows the open career positions and news (blog posts) consistently throughout the website.
- I also don’t want these posts appearing on the homepage, or any page they don’t belong; just the sidebar.
here’s the test site for reference:
Every bloody time I use the postcategory ID for the News posts, the post will show on the homepage! I just want them on my sidebar. Also, you see that the sidebar isn’t consistent throughout the site either (some show the news, others show the careers).
What on earth is going on here????
I purchased this theme over a year ago; does it require updates?
Help would be highly appreciated.

Is the problem my version of wordpress? Do i need to install a newer or older version of wordpress? I think I have everything installed fine. Also, the opening slideshow image, is not an image, it reads “_NOTES” and the line the images are on is broken where [6] is below [1] in the slideshow. It doesnt look or work like this on the live preview. Thanks again for the help

Im sorry i didnВґt get to explain me better but i will try again.
- Im ok with the Posts in the home page, its in the blog that i donВґt want them.
- And in the plugin of latest work with the 4 images, i canВґt get to see the image inserted in the post just the title of the post. (im ok to see it like the demo.) (i see them in the plug in , clik it and only text).

1.- I cant get to put the Blog posts in order of date (my 3 first posts are the 3 fixed post of my home page (i dont want them here) see here:
2.- When clicking in the side bars (latest work photos) does not appear the photo just text.

FYI , a theme update was approved this morning (March 9, 2010) which includes a few minor bug fixes. If you downloaded it before then, please re-download.
This is TOO much like the focus theme…..it looks like a copycat at work.
Too many coincidences…theme can’t look so close like this by accident.

Hi.. Really love the theme.. Quick question… for the portfolio view, I am able to add youtube and vimeo videos with no problem but I am having trouble with a sound player from the site soundcloud..
1. I enter the address for the music player and it states image cannot be loaded, for example the link is : “http://soundcloud.com/scott-naut/stardust-ride-wit-me”
2. I insert the embed code that is on the site for the player, and it brings up a player, but it pulls in music from a different source.. for example the code is:

I’m a WP newbie and this is my first attempt at using a theme….so far it’s working pretty well—i am getting help from a friend who is a developer. Love the theme.
Sorry if this has been asked already but I noticed this on the live preview and it’s happening on my site: On a portfolio page, top level, the third module does not line up exactly with the first two. I’m finding this very distracting and can’t put my site up until i correct this.

Hey, I’m about to purchase this theme to build a small site for a client. I want to make sure that I can configure the slider to show images and link to PAGES only and a couple other things, here it is:
1) I’m not going to have ANY posts, so I want to make sure that I will have no trouble using wordpress PAGES and homepage slider together.
2) Also, I won’t be needing the portfolio page, so I can just exclude it from the main navigation menu and it won’t show anywhere on the website, right?

I do have one question that I can’t seem to find. How do I change the settings in the Nivo Slider?
I want to change the length of time each photo stays on screen. I also want to use just the FADE transition and nothing else.
I can’t seem to find where you’ve put the Nivo CSS or the HTML for the slider.

I bought your theme – love it.
Question: Is there any way to use AJAX function on the Ajax Portfolio Category through anything else but the actual menu (like a flash file)?
Right now, if I use the ”?ajax-portfolio=” link it reloads the entire page, I’d like to to just fade to the new page like the regular links in the category does. Note that I want the link to be within one of the Portfolio items and the link IS within a Flash file. Trying to link it normally forces a page reload and destroys the entire point of the cool effect.
Any way to do it quick without having to read 3 books on AJAX ?
