Hi there i was wondering if you could please advise me on two things. I’d like the Homeslider pages to not show up as seperate pages as it showed up on a search result I did and looks pretty awful. Also is there a way to exclude the portfolio posts from being shown on the blog? Thanks

I’m having trouble left or right aligning images within the pages. The text drops down as if there is not alignment. Is anyone else having this problem?? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

The theme is really nice and the instructions are quite easy to follow. I do have one minor issue though. If you have a look at our site at ... in the recent posts at the bottom, the date is getting pushed down and the post subject is wrapping over the top of it. I don’t know CSS well enough to fix that – any ideas?

Hi, I’m having some trouble with the buttons in the main navigation.

The right-edge color does not match the rest of the button in Chrome, Safari, & Firefox for Mac. This does not appear to be an issue in IE and Chrome for Windows, but does happen in Firefox for windows. You can see an example here:

Also, if you hover over the left-edge of a button, the right-edge appears to be cut off as illustrated here:

Please let me know what can be done to fix these issues.

Thank you for this site – it’s very nice. Can you tell me how I can make more of the Item Description black bars. I am adding a post to the Portfolio page, so if I add an Item Description it goes at the top of the page. That is good but I also want several other Item Description bars further down the same page (to break up the content). How do I do that? Thank you

I am having trouble with getting the images to work. I followed the instructions for setting up the theme and making a post. I upload an image and put the URL to this image on the post under [Post Image]. However the images dont end up working. The img src it produces ends up being 404.

Great theme, thank you. I want to ask if there is any way to include more images per entry in the portfolio section and have them be seen in a dynamic way?

For instance a slider/slideshow like the home page or have one main image and a few smaller ones that when clicked on become the main image. Or any interesting way to present multiple images.

Hi Ollie, i bought this great theme in january 2010. It works perfect. But i’ve got two questions: 1. Is there any chance to open the posts on the portfolio page in a lightbox? 2. Is there a chance to integrate videos in the homepage slideshow

How can you add paragraphs and breaks to the slider’s body of description?

It doesn’t execute html tags and doesn’t handle special characters. How can this be remedied?

Hello Layered Pixels. I was able to get the slider to work. Thank you. Now i can get busy with it. Love the theme

JerryZ provided this solution and it worked for me.

1. create a posts category called “slider” (or whatever)

2. create some posts assigned to the “slider” category

3. add an image as a featured image for posts in the “slider” category, and tweak the “title” of the image …

4. Create a “page”, not a post, but a page, and assign it the “home page” template

5. Name the page “home” (or whatever), and save

6. Go to Settings > Reading and click the “A static page (select below)” and choose the page you just created in step 4 for the “Front Page”

Is there a way to make the images in the slideshow link to a post?
