Hello, I have noticed some significant bugs on the theme after downloading. For e.g. I didn’t want the Home page to display as the front page and instead wanted to use the Blog Page. The code however doesn’t allow this even though the settings do. The blog page shows up with the header background of the Home page because of incorrect if conditions on the getHeader.
I also realized that a closing php tag was missing in one of the files so I had to manually update that.
Overall, I believe that the current code base is significantly different from the prior releases and also different from the preview site.
Can you please look into this? What was supposed to be a 10-15min task has now ended up costing us hours.

Is there a way to add content (text) to the portfolio page right before or after the images? Also, is it possible to have more than one portfolio page? I need to have 2 pages: products and gift boxes that can display the images like like the portfolio. I already re-named the portfolio category to products but when I add the giftboxes category id to the theme options page like this 11,12. It can’t display them in the way of a portfolio.

How can I change theme widget names?
I used the first version of of Tesigner… tested it and eventually worked fine… didn’t end up using it though… but I’m back again to use Tesigner theme for another project… However… I am getting an Internal Server Error message… and basically when theme is installed it shuts me out of my admin panel ... the only way to solve this lockup is to delete the theme through my ftp client… I really want to continue with this theme, but the problems I encountered first time around made me choose another template… I have used many other templates and this one keeps causing me problems… Can you shed some light on this… like I said I really want to use this theme…

Okay, I spent most of the day developing my site on this theme.

After giving up on getting the slider to work, I realized that I could use the home page a splash page, which I actually prefer for my site. I’m not sure why I couldn’t get the slider to work, but no loss for me. Plenty of other people got it working, so I’m assuming I missed something.
Then, in order to deal with the videos I installed prettyPhoto lightbox so that I could use pages and insert PNG images and I had my portfolio system pretty much set up.
I love the look of this theme, but I do feel like it needs to simplified for the user. I’m hoping that this happens in an update. I’m REALLY hoping for video support on the portfolio pages, I would much prefer that method than my workaround.

Might be having a blond moment but I cannot work out why I’m not getting images on my posts?

I have urls in thumbnail image, banner image and portfolio settings. I had had the posts on portfolio style but I have changed that (turned it off). I know the image is recognised as it is on the homepage slider.
Can you please advise me on what I should have done? Or be doing?
Also, am I right in assuming that the timthumb script works automatically, as long as there is a url in the appropriate box?
Finally, you mentioned that you have an update. You also said it could be problematic for some if settings and code have been changed. However, I seem to be struggling on setting up the blog. Perhaps I’ve done it already as I have a post! However my point of asking is that if the update clarifies the blog page, can I upload just the appropriate code? At my risk?

Just to clarify, my (only) post is listed at the base on the domain front page with an image.
I want to add “Blog” to the menu but cannot seem to link the posts to the blog (when I have tried).
Also how to do I get domain.com to link to domian.com/home?
