I’ve spent some time looking for a solution to my problem on here and other sources. But I’m at the end of that road – hence this post

How do you exclude the portfolio category from showing in the sidebar category widget?
I have tried the ‘simply exclude’ plugin (which is great btw) and it most definitely excludes the Portfolio category from the sidebar but also from the Portfolio Page.
I want the Portfolio category to pull posts I want to display as my portfolio but I d not want these posts to be displayed in the Catergory archive.
Any suggestions for a work around?

Hi, i’m new to Wordpress and am interested in purchasing the theme.
I have two questions:
1. I was wondering if it’s fairly easy to remove the existing logo and image that sits behind the logo? Or, does that require a lot of Photoshop manipulation of the header image?
2. I noticed the drop-down menu which is great. Are you aware of a way (plugin or software) that I could buy that would allow me to create a “mega-drop down menu” to the current code in place?
