Regarding the flickering problem… I am staging my site here:

The site is obviously still in progress, but the menus are pretty much in place.

If you roll over the “popular” menu, it will sometimes start flickering up and down. If I quickly roll straight over the header to the 3rd or 4th submenu, it will flicker. If I slowly navigate down the submenus, and then exit left or right, it will flicker once, sometimes. Sometimes, it will just start flickering randomly while I navigate it.

It’s a cool effect, but I’m pretty close to removing the one menu with the dropdown effect if this is one of those “it only happens in Firefox on a Mac” kind of things, which is the majority of my visitors.

This happens on my laptop and desktop in Firefox 3. Mac OS 10 .5.6

Also…. one suggestion. Why have “Featured” articles show up on the home page? Why would I want it twice? If I feature an article, it gets pushed to the homepage as well as the featured section.

@markharrison04: Using WordPress’s ‘Pages’ will allow you to add additional navigation links which will then tie into pages on the website. When you add a new page in the admin area, it’ll show up in the navigation.

But I can not get it to work the slide, although the items are generated in the function does not show the slide. have any special requirements? I disabled all plugins to see if this was, but just does not work.

Nearly a month later… no live preview, no word from the author. No thanks.

Managed to fix this by adjusting the margins so that the rotating images were in the right spot, even tho it made non rotating ones not. Figured it was easier to have multiple images in every category than have only 1 in every category. Not perfect, but it got around the problem.

Interesting note is that single posts behaved the same as the rotating. It was only categorry pages with only a single image that were screwing up.

Hope that helps narrow it down if anyone else runs into something similar.

@msampat – I like the theme, but your CSS is… um… original. I’ll put it that way >.<

My only remaining ‘issue’ is trying to get the whole thing to center vertically on the page. Something is conflicting in the CSS and it just won’t do it regardless of what I try. lol

Purchased this and was able to get it up and running pretty seamlessly and loving it well until …

It looks great in Firefox and even Safari, and I have to admit I hardly use IE so it was the last thing I looked at it in. And when I looked at it in IE, well I’m guessing the @font-face call to League Gothic doesn’t work in IE? Is there a workaround to it at all as it looks so much better with the League Gothic font rather than what it defaults to.

Also, can you nest Galleries? I tried to but they show up like posts, not like the main Gallery … but that doesn’t mean I’m not doing something wrong. smile

I also get a lot of javascript errors showing up in my status bar when I view in IE and I swear, scouts honor, I didn’t touch the javascript files.
